I also have my calendar, phone book, to-do list, and memo pad all in one item - I use a Day-Timer. I can't get a book into it, but I almost never have time to read during the day anyway. (I know a handheld has some neat features, but in any gathering where someone asks the collective for X's contact info, I usually have my address book open to the right page while everyone else is still clicking through menus...)
