Undreamed-of talent

Contestant on Ukraine's Got Talent demonstrates the art of sand painting - hard to describe, but not to be missed.

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] debgeisler for the link!

That is very good.

Based upon the audience reaction, the scenes she painted must be very significant to them.

I sort of grew up with sand painting as an art form. I saw this a couple of times as a child.

Near as I can tell, it's a compressed history of WW2.

The most fantastic thing I've ever seen!

I couldn't listen to this but even without the sound, I was emotional at 5 minutes... Tomorrow, I can watch it again, with the sound. I hope it is narration...

Glad you liked it! Accompaniment was musical, but that may be just as well since we wouldn't be able to understand the narration anyway...

Wow, amazing. I wish I knew more about what was going on or the words she wrote at the end...

Near as I could tell it's a history of WW2. I saw a comment saying that the end reads "always with us," but I don't know whether it's accurate.
