Pictures from Maine

I scanned in a few pictures from our trip to Maine to visit foolcat and drturtle... it's not quite the same as being there, and some of the colors got a little weird when I was trying to tweak them, but at least it gives you an idea of what the scenery is like.

sdavido at a fort I can't remember the name of... behind him is a line of towers which are the easternmost point of the early-warning system. Unfortunately they're blending into the fog

As you can see, it's very pretty up there! But cell phones don't work, so nobody can reach you while you're admiring the scenery... :-)

Sadly, it wasn't a favorite of mine. I prefered Jasper Beach, and the shopping mall, of course *grin*. The name seemed to be a bit of a joke. The place had less than a standard gas station convenience store.
