Pictures from Maine
I scanned in a few pictures from our trip to Maine to visit ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
foolcat and drturtle... it's not quite the same as being there, and some of the colors got a little weird when I was trying to tweak them, but at least it gives you an idea of what the scenery is like.

Bad Little Falls (really!) in Machias
sdavido at a fort I can't remember the name of... behind him is a line of towers which are the easternmost point of the early-warning system. Unfortunately they're blending into the fog
The sign reads: Bucks Harbor Shopping Mall
A friend's backyard
Jasper Beach - yes, the beach is all rocks
In front of a store called 45th Parallel. Sign reads: Halfway between the Equator and the North Pole
As you can see, it's very pretty up there! But cell phones don't work, so nobody can reach you while you're admiring the scenery... :-)
