A few years ago, I started keeping a list of my friends' children's names and ages. I felt embarrassed about needing to write them all down, but I was having trouble keeping track. As time passes I am increasingly glad I decided to do this. After my most recent update, the current total of friends' and cousins' children (aged 10 or under) is 57, with 4 more expected in the next few months (G-d willing). Maybe it's not just that I have a bad memory for names, after all...
