With all the prep for Arisia I've fallen about a week behind on posts, which are at skip = 500+. There's no way I'm going to catch up. If I missed something you think I should see, or would find of interest, please let me know. Thanks!

As a partial apology, though, I'll share one of the things that was taking up my time. It was the filk guest of honor's birthday this weekend, so I wanted to make a cake for the guest-of-honor dinner. (I was guest liaison this year.) I wound up dedicating the cake to all 3 guests, here's what I came up with...

Getting it to the hotel undamaged was a little stressful, but the cake was very well received (yay!). (A few other people took pictures of the GOHs with the cake - if people are interested, I'll post them when I get them.) What was left (about half [for those who care, the layers were 6"/10"/12"; top two were chocolate, bottom was rainbow]) went to staff den, where I imagine it was gobbled up - at least, I didn't see any at the Dead Dog party. :-)
