Was just outside putting some last touches on the succah decorations. It is not supposed to be 92 degrees outside in Boston during Sukkot...

Of course it is. This is New England weather. Just watch: tomorrow, it'll be ten below, six feet of snow, with a howling wind from the north.

I'm looking forward to knitting and having a quiet lunch in our sukkah before I head off to work this afternoon. Last night's dinner and outdoor service in our shul's sukkah was lovely.

My main complaint when it is this warm is that the bees join us in the sukkah and then we have to run inside with the food. Of course, other Sukkots it is so cold we get frostbite, so it's really a toss up!

We've been very pleased to have minimal flying creatures thus far.

Interestingly, we haven't been too bothered by the swarmers either. However, a stray cat has moved in, much to the kids delight!
