In Allen Steele's book "Spindrift", they have a library on board their small spacecraft. It has comfy chairs, bookshelves, and a (fake) fireplace. The books have electronic pages, so the books can be any book you want.
we have almost wall-to-wall bookshelves in our office/playroom/music room. when our new neighbors came to visit, the wife said, "wow, I've never seen so many books in one place before!" interesting....
Now, you know how much I love plaid, but that plaid wall-paper is awful!
