vettecatPeople always underguess my age, but this one was a little extreme. A new customer asked today whether my mother and I are related. We explained the relationship, and my mother followed up with, "how old do you think she is?," referring to me. It can be fun seeing how much people are off by. But this woman said, "12? 13?" I must have looked shocked, because she revised it and said, "Okay, 21." When I told her I'm 34, she thought I was joking - my mother had to back me up. And this was with make-up.
