End of the cycle

Went to see Revenge of the Sith tonight; a few people had asked me to let them know what I thought, so, a quick (non-spoiler) review: I thought Lucas did a good job of tying the story together, and looping it back to the beginning (or the middle). The plot worked, for the most part, though some of the acting needed help. Effects were great - it's amazing how far things have come in 20 years! Any quibbles I have would be minor... and it is nice to finally be able to say, "Oh, that's how it happened!"

The effects were cool. Though my reaction to the effects in the opening sequence was that they were more interested in showing off than advancing the story.

Maybe so... I took it as trying to draw you into the action, and perhaps harking back slightly to the opening of New Hope.
