Scheherazade is back home, and acting much more like herself. Yay! Thanks to everyone for your concern. We still need to keep an eye on her to make sure she eats; she's supposed to be on a special diet for a couple days, but doesn't seem to like it so far. (She doesn't usually eat wet food.) Hopefully the transition back to her usual food will go smoothly, and she'll be all better soon.

In non-cat news, we changed the display in the store window this afternoon. We worked in our usual tag-team fashion: My mother came up with an idea, and I worked out the details. :-) It came out really well. For those of you who are local, if you wander by, let me know what you think!

And we got the new Modern Bride today, but so far I can't find the article we wanted to see. But it seems they also have a Boston edition, so maybe it'll be in there instead... we'll have to watch for it.

Thanks! We're glad, too.

We don't have a digital camera. We've talked about getting one, but we don't need it often enough to make it worthwhile.

I love the digital camera. over time it's cheaper since you save on film and prints. You can take multiples and then just keep the one you like. Plus they are rleatively cheap. The canon Power Shot I have was $140 a year ago. i'm sure it's cheaper now.

I recently bought a new camera for less than $20 (on sale), and we're trying to watch our spending right now. I don't ordinarily take that many pictures, but I'd be printing them out no matter what just to make sure they last. File formats and compatibility change quickly, but pictures taken and printed 30 years ago are still perfectly fine.

You can order prints at most photo development places. But a digital is still around $100 and it would take a while to spend $80 on film.

Right. So for the moment we may as well stay with what we have.
