Little cat feet
Jun. 1st, 2004 12:59 amWe know Scheherazade is smarter than she has any right to be, but sometimes she reminds us...
Since we've been travelling a lot lately, we bought an automatic feeder. We did have someone checking on her, scooping the litter, etc., but she usually gets fed three times a day, and that seemed unfair to ask. So I ordered a jazzy feeder that can be programmed to release food up to 8 times a day. (It looks kind of like a water cooler.)
She adapted to it very quickly, and we were relieved that we wouldn't have to worry about her being fed on time, and perhaps she wouldn't wake us up as early in the morning.
Except
sdavido noticed tonight that she's figured out how to stick a paw up the chute and knock a few more kibbles loose. I don't think she's supposed to figure that out...
In other news, I'm mostly unpacked, caught up on bills and such, and I've pared my inbox down to under 100 messages. Whew! Still not done answering them, obviously, but there's hope...
