The cake is done. Bears only a slight resemblance to the idea I based it on, but I think it looks pretty good. Cleared sugar off all the kitchen surfaces, etc. ... no energy to answer e-mail, will have to catch up in the morning. G'night, all...

You have done so much work for this party! You should be proud of yourself. I'm sure that the cake and all the rest of your delish. creations look wonderful and taste divine. Too bad I'm all the way out in the wilds of Toledo--and on a diet to boot.
